The real origin of Cometman was back in high school. Jacob Leslie was very fond of making stick figure comics, and he created Cometman a few weeks before I met him in English class. I was drawing a picture a character of my own at the time (who will appear later in this comic) and Jacob, being the competitive person he was started one of our first conversations with “I bet Cometman could beat Herric in a fight.”
Thus started a series of comics to prove which was the better character (Aka wins in the fights the most.) I’m pleased to announce that mine consistently won in the end. Cometman became far more than just Cometman and Herric though, and this revival of the Highschool comic which we present to you in its original art style is only represents the first layer of hundreds.
We’ve had a lot of fun bringing it back, and we hope that you will enjoy it.
